Jungle justice in Etsako East LGA

The justice system isn't  as credible, but still it isn't  fair for individuals  to take laws into their own hands...  I believe  everyone should have a second chance...  In life.
Plus Drivers, especially of heavyweight  motor vehicles should take caution...

The incident was reported thus...

... Three persons, including a pregnant woman, have been crushed to death after a truck rammed into them in Osholo village, in the Etsako East Local Government Area of Edo State.

The driver of the truck and another occupant were said to have been killed by an angry mob which set them ablaze.
It was gathered that the incident occurred last Thursday when the driver, who was en route to Weppa from Ekperi, ran into guests at a burial ceremony, leaving three persons dead and injuring others.

The driver, who reportedly hailed from Weppa community, and the other occupant alighted the vehicle in an attempt to take the victims to a nearby hospital.
They were, however, attacked by some youths and forced back into the vehicle before setting the truck ablaze.
It was learnt that the situation angered some residents of Weppa community, who allegedly invaded Osholo and set some houses on fire.

PUNCH Metro was told that some policemen
later arrived to prevent further loss of lives and property.

Hmm...  It is true that  the earlier  incidence was indeed hurtful.  But do you feel they got what they deserved? Well...  It's  a No from me, I think the people who actually deserve this kinda justice never find themselves  in such a situation.
But the innocent and possibly  those 'willing'  to repent sometimes get nailed by this fate.  This should  stop! At least if not for the fact that it is inhuman, then for the fact that the innocent usually get hurt in the process most times...
May their souls rest in peace!
